Spatial Flows

Spatial Flows combines an industrial planning web application with a separate Unity client. The web application supports projects, a 3D asset library, assemblies, layout editing and technical PDF exports. The Unity client uses the same backend to load projects and models and explore spatial presentation.

In development. The Unity client is a functioning foundation; physical anchoring, real equipment alignment and complete headset workflows remain unfinished.

Problem

What needed solving

Help planners assemble and compare industrial equipment layouts, with a shared foundation for displaying them across different environments.

Solution

How I approached it

Blazor and Three.js for the browser editor, .NET for project data, and Unity for runtime GLB loading, layout handling and an experimental OpenXR foundation.

Outcome

What it became

An evolving planning environment with connected web and Unity clients sharing projects, models and a common data model.
