Gibberish Composer

Gibberish Composer explores understanding web content without constantly switching between the page and a chat interface. It sends selected text to a chosen local model, streams an explanation in a movable popup and supports follow-up questions in the same context.

WXTReactTypeScriptLocal AI

An experiment in active development. It needs an available local model server; a public extension release has not been published.

Problem

What needed solving

Reading complex text is interrupted when terms have to be copied elsewhere and their context explained again.

Solution

How I approached it

A WXT extension combining text selection, streamed explanations, contextual markers and follow-up prompts through a compatible local AI server.

Outcome

What it became

A reading-assistant prototype with explanations on the page and control over the model connection.
